Day 99: Beena Allergy-ridden Day

New Dish!

My allergies were acting up horribly today. I'm not exactly sure what's up with them. Hopefully, they're better tomorrow. Despite this, I decided to cook myself some Mexican for dinner, which is a new adventure for me.
	I made Mexican rice and burritos. They turned out pretty well, I thought. Don't my veggies and all look pretty?
This is my attempt to roll it into a burrito like shape. I tried to warm the tortilla a bit first to make it easier to work with, but I think I wound up cooking it at too hot of a temperature or too long or something.
	This is the final product though. Sorry it's hard to see against the white plate.

Day 98: Beena New Day

New TV Set Up!

So, as I mentioned yesterday, I bought a new TV to go in my living room, but it didn't fit in my car when I went to pick it up from the store. Luckily, my parents are the best and my dad took me in their SUV to pick it up. No space issue there (although, the height almost was).
	Daddy helped me get the TV onto its stand and stuck around to see it set up.

Day 97: Beena Wrapping Day

Doh!

I've been thinking about getting a new TV for either my living room or my bedroom for a while now. I've been looking at sales and deals and so on and so forth, but nothing's really popped out at me yet. Today, Best Buy had one that I just couldn't pass up, so I decided to purchase a new TV for my living room
I did the store pick-up option to save on shipping and so I could go ahead and get it today and play with it. (Plus, I later found out that I get a $10 store credit for any store pick up purchases of at least $100...score!) I went to the store, got all set up to get the TV in my car, and pulled my car up to the curb. What happens, the TV is wider than my car! The lesson here being if you buy something that's going to come in a large box, make sure it's going to fit in the car you're going to be picking it up in.
	Anyways, I decided to rearrange the furniture and whatnot to accommodate the larger TV size. I spent a good while untangling the cords behind the TV because they were all in a big clump...not sure how that happened. I then put them in nice neat little bundles, hopefully, this'll make it easier to switch in the new tele.

Day 96: Beena Building Day

Legos!

When we were waiting for Krispy Kreme yesterday, my boyfriend and I decided to go to target. We decided to go through the toy and game section.
	We both got a new set of Legos to build. I got the pod racer that Anakin uses in Star Wars: Episode I. It's such a cool little ship. Mabey I'll get the other sets that are similar soon.
	It also came with Anikin's slavemaster, Sebulba. Not going to lie...it's kind of creepy that he has a single random arm coming from his belly to hold the wrench.

Day 95: Beena Fresh Day

Fresh Donuts that is!

There's a Krispy Kreme location fairly close to my boyfriend's apartment. According to him, fresh donuts from there are unbelievable, so we decided we'd take a trip there since I'd never gotten a chance to partake of them when they were still hot.
	He was totally right. They are delicious and essentially melt in your mouth. We got some of the hot and ready glazed donuts as well as a variety of other types of donuts. So far, all of them have been just as good as what we got fresh from the oven.

Day 94: Beena Fill-in Day

Hopefully my last one for a while!

I'm finally able to get completely caught up on my blog completely. Sorry for all the fill-in days, but hopefully, you've enjoyed all the pictures even so. Therefore, I'm going to try to keep up with my blog rather than having to create pictures for it from now on.
	In honor of this, I'm doing a guessing game today and have two pictures. Any guesses as to what my picture for today is?

Day 93: Beena Silly Packaging Day

I opened a pack of batteries today. I thought the labeling that was written on the package was just silly in its obviousness.
	Note that it says this is in a 10-pack of batteries in the top right corner. Now, see in the top left corner where it says 2 More Batteries? In small print, it says versus 8 packs. Shouldn't that be obvious?

	I love this picture. The way the colors pop off each other, looks really spiffy in my opinion.

Day 91: Beena Finishing Day

Look, I took them all!

Yes, I've officially finished all my medicine I was given to combat my pneumonia.
	Is it just me, or do I look like a druggie...lol? Now, if it'll just leave me completely...

Day 90: Beena Boring Day

Not really much going on here today. I went back to work today though (which at least got me out of the house). I had a lot of trouble being at work cause I had to take a lot more breaks than usual since I kept getting out-of-breath pretty easily.
	Anyways, while I was sitting at my desk, I saw that my USB hub has a translucent cover on it. I thought it was cool that you could see the circuits and such inside. I don't think it came through well in the picture though...sad.

Day 89: Beena Fill-in Day

So, this isn't really all that exciting, but it did amuse me.
	When I was visiting my sister in Ohio, we saw a bike rack when we were walking into her dorm. I found it a little ironic that there were bikes lying on the ground next to the rack.

I'm beginning to feel a bit better. I'm starting to get sick of being stuck at home though. However, I'm still getting winded pretty easily, so I guess that's how it's gotta be.
	I feel like this picture looks as though I doctored it, but I really didn't. This is how it came off the camera. What an odd looking sky.

Day 86: Beena Fill-in Day

I went back to the doctor today for a follow up visit. There really wasn't much she could do for me. She gave me some steroids to hopefully help with the tightness in my chest. (As my boyfriend said, I guess I can't play baseball now.)
	When we went to visit my sister in Ohio, this tree was outside her dorm. I'm not exactly sure what the fridge is doing in it...

Obviously, I'm still sick with pneumonia...fail. I'm starting to feel worse than I have been, unfortunately.
	While Mom and I were travelling, I saw this as a handle on a door a Burger King. I thought it was pretty ingenious.

Day 83: Beena Sick Day

Epic!Fail!

Between yesterday and today, my chest has felt really tight. As my inhaler didn't seem to be helping anything, I decided I should go into the doctor. I hate going to the doctor, but I went anyway. (Unless it's The Doctor from Doctor Who, but that's another story entirely.)
	As it turns out, I have pneumonia and have to take the rest of the week off work. This is me doing a breathing treatment at the doctor. It helped a little, but only temporarily.

There's nothing too exciting in this post actually. I wasn't feeling very well today, so not much happened.
	I got a newspaper today (every Wednesday and Sunday, actually), and so I decided to take a picture of it before I picked it up.

My boyfriend was in a bit of a silly mood when we got ice cream from Burger King today.
	Apparently, straws are now necessary for eating an ice cream cone...Is it just me or does he look a little mischievous in this photo?

Day 80: Beena Going Home Day

Waffles for Breakfast!

We met up in Charlottesville yesterday evening because my cousin was directing an opera at UVA, and opening night was last night. This morning, we joined them for breakfast.
	This was my uncle's waffle. Obviously, something went wrong in the process of making it.

Day 79: Beena Travellin' Day (Again)

On the road again...

This is the bridge that spans between Ohio and West Virginia. Mom and I are guessing that the boundary is right in the middle of the bridge, based on where the Welcome to signs for both states are.
	Since I got the sign when we were coming into Ohio, I figured I'd get the sign when we were leaving it as well.

Sister Time!

My mom and I got to spend some time to visit with my sister and her fiancee today. We had a pretty good time with them.
	We were at the outlet mall in Ohio for a while, and they had some kiddie play-things there.

We made it!

My mom and I found our way to my sister's college in Ohio. It was a long trip, but well worth the time it takes to travel in my opinion.

That's a quote from my belated Gram. She used to say that every time we saw this spot driving down I-64.
	It's kind of a running joke in our family, but she's right. That spot is quite beautiful. I'm not quite sure this picture does it justice.

As I was driving home from work one day, I saw this license plate on the back of the vehicle in front of me.
	It says IM L8 2...in case you couldn't read it. I thought it was pretty amusing.

Today my boyfriend taught me how to shine shoes. I was curious and wanted to learn.

So, I actually don't like chocolate all that much. However, when I was growing up, there used to always be M&Ms in jars at my Gram's house. I used to grab some every time I came to her house.
	Since I'm living in her old place now, I've kept up the tradition. These are peanut butter M&Ms.

My boyfriend made tea and had the string from the bag hanging outside his mug. This particular teabag didn't have a tag on the end of it.
	I'm guessing there was some kind of static at work, but the string just kind of kept moving on it's own. It was a little creepy.

What on earth is that?

After the first performance of the Easter production at church tonight, a bunch of us went to a Mexican restaurant.
	I ordered a dish I hadn't had before. I'm not exactly sure what sauce they put on my dish, but it looked fairly disgusting.

Day 65: Beena Pudding Day

Banana Pudding!

Today, my boyfriend came to my house after he finished at his internship. When he got here, I was amist making a banana pudding. Therefore, I had him help with it.
	To try and annoy me, he stuck one of the vanilla wafers standing in the pudding rather than lying flat.
He thought this was going to bother me, but instead, I just randomly put cookies standing up all over the dish. (Most of them broke when I took it out of the fridge to eat later though, sadly.)

	My cousin's baby was born at 1:01 this morning. He's so cute. My mom and I went to visit him today.
	My cousin's parents and sister were there at the same time. This is one of my cousins holding him.

My cousin's wife has been in the hospital in labor for a good portion of today. I'm so excited that little Cayden will be here soon.
	This is the cake from the baby shower for Cayden. I'm amazed at how similar it was to the napkins we used.

This is from back in January when my family was cleaning out a lot of stuff at my Gram's house.
	We rented a dumpster. This was just the first day. We had to wait til the next weekend to finish cause the company wouldn't come to empty it on the weekend.

One of my tasks at work is to do copying for some of the teachers. Sometimes, the amount of copies I have to make is a bit ridiculous.
	This is my cart of copies for one day. The bottom rack is a set that's all for a single teacher.

I was shocked at how foggy it was this morning on my drive to school.

When I got home from work today, I saw a nice present waiting for me.
	My wonderful boyfriend had gotten me this frog as a feel better/I love and miss you present. He's the best!
