Day 28: Beena Uncomfortable Day

| This morning, I put on my shoe and went to work. While I was driving, my shoe kept feeling more and more like there was something in there that wasn't supposed to be. | |
 | Once I finally got to school, I had a chance to look in my shoe. What was in there? A quarter. Not the most pleasant thing ever. At least it didn't wind up damaging my foot. |

Day 25: Beena Experimenting Day
Titanium!
| My boyfriend has been researching different metals recently. One of the coolest he's learned about is titanium. Instead of painting this metal to change the color, you can anodize it. This essentially causes the oxide layer to have different thicknesses and to appear different colors (assuming I understand it correctly). | |
 | We decided to experiment with this process. He bought titanium guitar picks off the internet, and then we set everything up to be able to anodize it. Pretty cool results, in my opinion. |

Day 18: Beena Weird Day
Thundersnow?!?!?
| Today my area experienced a bout of thundersnow. If you haven't heard of this before, it's similar to a thunderstorm except instead of rain, it's snowing. Pretty cool huh? | |
 | I tried to take a video of this, but I apparently wound up going out at the very tail end of the storm and so I got the snow falling, but no sound or lightning to go with it. Sad... |

Day 17: Beena Yummy Day
Delicious!
 | My boyfriend and I went to one of his favourite places to eat tonight. It's this little restaurant that serves Japanese and Thai food just down the street from me. Sounds kind of like an odd combination, but it is really good food and some of the best service in any restaurant. |
 | I taught myself how to use chopsticks a few months ago. That's me holding up one of my shrimp. I had to hold it a while cause he's not exactly quick with the trigger on the camera...lol. |

| Throughout the month of February, I was feeling fairly crappy. It was the flu or something? Due to this, I've gotten really lazy with posting pictures, causing me to be very back logged. In the process, I've missed taking pictures for some days. Therefore, I'm just going to post fill in pictures on days that I have none. They're taken later, but I still want to have a picture each day. These will be called "fill-in" days. (This continues through March, cause I was still lazy then :P) |

| Today I played a game called Culdcept Saga. It is one of my favourite games, played on the Xbox 360. It's kind of like a cross between Pokemon and Monopoly (much cooler playing it than it sounds from that description, I promise). | |

Day 10: Beena Creepy Day
...or not so creepy...
| I got a new sandwich maker for Christmas. Well, I asked for a waffle maker, but this one has interchangeable plates so I can make sandwiches and waffles in it. Yum! | |
| Anyway, I recently had the amazing butter that Texas Roadhouse gives you to put on their rolls (some kind of cinnamon infused spread that is delicious). Because of this, I wanted to try to make my own and thought that I might be able to use the sandwich maker to cook it, hoping it would taste like a cinnamon roll...sort of. | What resulted was creepy. When I opened the sandwich maker, The sandwich was breathing. I didn't have my camera ready, but I went and got it quickly to try and film the event. |

| At work, I'm supposed to be figuring out schedules of different people I work with. However, in order to do so, I need answers from various other people within the workplace. No one seems to want to respond, and it's somewhat frustrating for me. If only people would cooperate, right? | |
 | Anyway, on an unrelated note. While I was home tonight, I decided it was a good time to play on my XBox. Has anyone else noticed that the bottom part of the controller really looks like a face? |
